City Honors Veterans with Hometown Hero Banner Program
As a way to acknowledge our hometown heroes, the City of North Royalton has decided to start a banner program. Thanks to Ward 4 Councilman Jeremy Dietrich for all his hard work in bringing this program to North Royalton. Please read the details below and contact the Mayor’s Office at 440-237-5686 or stop in at City Hall, 14600 State Road to pick up an application. Banners will be displayed for a two-year cycle. The banner application can be found here.
Banner details: As part of the Hometown Heroes Banner Program, each banner will be in honor of a specific military service person with North Royalton ties and will include their name, branch of service and photo. Banners will be displayed on Royalton Road between West 130th Street and York Road. The City is looking to start displaying banners this year in August. The regular banner program will run Memorial Day through Veteran’s Day. Banners will be returned to the sponsor after the two-year display period.
Banners are printed double-sided in color and measure 24 W X 72 H. Full payment of $100 must be included with the application. Checks should be made payable to “City of North Royalton”. Space is limited to the program is on a first come, first serve basis.
Photos are the most important part of these banners. We require signed consent to display each individual’s photograph. Please send in high-quality images ONLY (what looks sharp and crisp on your computer screen might not look sharp in print.)
