The North Royalton Fire Department is an all-hazard emergency service provider serving the community from two fire stations. Fire Station 1 (photo at right) is located on Royalton Road and is located right in the middle of our city. Fire Station 2 (photo at left) is located on the corner of York and Albion roads. The Fire Department serves a population of approximately 32,000 residents and covers 22 square miles. Additionally, our department is part of the Southwest Emergency Response Team (SERT), which provides high level Hazardous Materials Response, Technical Rescue (land and water based) and Fire Investigation. These members are highly trained in these disciplines and respond to over 19 municipalities in Southwest Cuyahoga County. We have a staff of 32 dedicated Lieutenants and Firefighter/Paramedics on the shift level. Our administrative compliment consists of one Fire Chief, one Assistant Fire Chief, one Administrative Assistant and one part-time Fire Inspector.
The North Royalton Fire Department is driven to success by our Mission, Vision and Core Values and guided into the future by our Strategic Plan. Our goal is to create a community based organization dedicated to serving our residents.
