Watershed Land Protection Forum – You’re Invited!

The preservation of land through
property acquisition, conservation easements and other land use
mechanisms is an important tool in the protection of water quality and
aquatic habitat. The Rocky River Watershed Council is hosting the Rocky
River Land Protection Forum on October 26 at 7:00 PM at the Cleveland
Metroparks Rocky River Nature Center. A panel featuring representatives
of the most active land protection organizations in the watershed,
including Cleveland Metroparks, Medina County Park District and Western
Reserve Land Conservancy will discuss the current status of land
protection in the Rocky River Watershed and future priorities for
preservation. Updates of current watershed projects and refreshments
will also be provided. This event is free and open to the public!
